Getting to know the Extreme Sports
The geomorphology of Greece is suitable for conducting many outdoors activities collectively called “extreme sports”.
In the recent years, the fast-paced urban lifestyles, tend to make people look for increasingly intense and exciting activities for their free time. It is certain that the extreme sports can achieve that in the best possible way, without necessarily endangering one's life.
In the recent years many extreme-sport schools have also been organized in Greece. These offer experienced instructors and suitable equipment, so that practically everybody can take part in these activities, of course depending on his/her skills and level of fitness.
Therefore, it is very easy for almost everyone to participate in such activities by contacting agencies approved by HATTA (Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies). These agencies can give a beginner proper instruction and equipment, so that the first contact with this type of sports is a pleasant one and one can feel the adrenaline pumping from the first moment, without any compromise in safety.
As for the more experienced in extreme sports, they can advance even further, reaching their natural limits, improving their technique and, always in safety, coming closer to nature and seeing places they could never see in any other way.
By selecting one of the “extreme sports” that follow, such as rafting, ski mountaineering, hot dogging, hydrospeeding, kayaking, mountaineering, climbing, canyoning, river trekking, parapente, mountain biking, horseback riding, you can experience the adventure and also have a lot of fun.
