Serifos is situated between Kythnos and Sifnos, 73 nautical miles from Piraeus and it is 75 sq. km. Its coastline length is 84 km and 12 km of these are sandy beaches.

 
 
 

The capital Chora is built on a hill that overlooks the bay and Livadi, the harbor. It is a town that resembles a fortress, to defend itself from the frequent pirate raids that ravaged it until the 17th century.

 
 
 

You should visit the ruins of the Venetian castle in Chora and the church of Agios Konstantinos that offer magnificent view, the Archaeological and the Folk Art Museum in Chora

How to get there

By Ferry: There are regularly itineraries from Piraeus port to Serifos.
By high speed boat: There are also departures of High Speed ferries from Rafinas port.
Connection with other islands: Serifos is connected with: Kythnos, Sifnos, Milos, Folegandros, Sikinos, Ag. Nikolaos, Sitia (Crete), the Dodecanese.
