Kythnos lies between Kea and Serifos and it is located 52 nautical miles away from the port of Piraeus. It is a mountainous island, characterized by the relief of the typical landscape of Cyclades. Its surface area comes to about 99 square km.

You should visit the Katafiki cave with stalactite and stalagmite formations, the St. Minas church , the monastery of Prodromos in Chordaki, the Oria Castle.

How to get there
By Ferry:
There are daily itineraries from Piraeus and Lavrio port to Kythnos.
By high speed boat: There are also departures of High Speed ferries from Pireaus and Rafina port all year round.
Connection with other islands: Kythnos is connected with Kea , Serifo, Sifno, Kimolos, Milos , Folegandros, Sikinos, Ios, Santorini, Ag. Nikolaos, Dodecanese and Korrissia and Koundouros (Kea).
