Selianitika is easily attained by car, train, ferry-boat or airplane.
By Ferry-boat: Ferry-boat from Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindesi are arriving every day in Patras. The passage takes 19 hours from Ancona . From Patras to Selianitika:
By bus: Busses from Patras are leaving every hour (direction Aigion). Price 2.30 euro. Duration about 45min. Busses leave at the ktel station near the harbour. The last bus leaves at 10:15pm. Other buses in the evening: 7:15, 8:30, 9:30pm.
By train: It is possible to take the train to Selianitika (direction Aigion). Time of departure 12:00pm, 3:00pm, 6:00pm. It takes about 45min and costs 1.20euro. By car: Through Korinthou avenue you get on the new National road from Patras to Korinthos. After 25 min you turn right at the exit to Selianitika-Longos.
By Plain: You arrived to the airport El. Venizelos of Athens.
From airport you can take taxi or the bus no93 to the bus station Peloponnese/Kiffisou in Athens. It will take about 40 minutes (ticket cost 3 euro). At the bus station busses leaving for Aigio every half hour. Tickets will be sold in the main hall. To Aigio tickets cost 11.30 euro. Seats are numbered on the ticket. The last bus from Athens leaves at 10:00pm (direction Patra). The ride will take about 2:15h. The bus leaves the motor way and drives in to Aigion. Get off the bus there because the bus after keep on going to Patras.
There will be a taxi station in Aigion. A taxi to Selianitika/Jimmys apartments will cost about 6 euros or you can go by bus (leaving every hour). Go about 100m into town. The bus stop will be after a triangle square on the other side of a shoe shop. Tickets will be sold at a newspaper stand on the triangle square. Ticket cost 1 euro. The last bus leaves at 10pm every day and at 9pm on Saturdays, every two hours on Sundays (last one at the 9pm). Also buses to Ziria or Kamares are going to Selianitika. The ride will take about 20min. Get off the bus at the first stop in Selianitika. On the left hand side will be a church. If you go the way after 60m. there is a petrol station (AVIN) turns right and after 30m there is Jimmys Apartments.
Athens-Selianitika by car: From Athens, through Kavalas avenue, you get on the new National road from Athens to Korinthos. Toll post is 1.80euro. At Korinthos interchange you keep straight ahead and you enter the national road from Korinthos to Patra. After 60min. you turn right at the exit to Selianitika-Longos.
