The combination of sea and mountain and the easy access to near by beaches and islands, to archaeological and historical sites and to the villages of Fthiotida is unbeatable. The Monastery of Metamorphosis is an invaluable historical treasure built in the 11 th and 12 th centuries. Close to the Monastery is the traditional village of Karya with incredible view to the surrounding mountains.
